Keynote Speaker: Jazmine Tabili

Jazmine Tabili is the Business Development Team Lead at the Uber Health Internation Pod - a part of the inaugural Global Healthcare Partnerships team at Uber. She helped launch the Uber Health market in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand — establishing a whole new system of non-emergency transport services in these countries. 

By carving the international landscape to address social determinants of health through Uber’s technologies and resources, the company’s healthcare vertical is working on removing logistical barriers around patient transportation, hospital staff rides, prescription delivery, and food insecurity through meal delivery programs. 

Prior to working at Uber, Jazmine holds a background in political organizing and public administrative roles in local and state government entities. Some of her previous involvements include working at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in Washington DC during the 2020 presidential primary election, a fellowship at the California Secretary of State’s Office, and a legislative fellowship at the San Francisco City Administrator’s (City Manager) Office. 

Jazmine holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of San Francisco. 

When Jazmine’s not working on Excel spreadsheets and Salesforce reports, you will usually see her scrolling on her TikTok for you page, scouring through Expedia and Google Flights for the cheapest round trip tickets she can book, and going on afternoon neighborhood walks while sipping on a Chamberlain Coffee cold brew and listening to music with her Sony XM4 headphones on.

This year, the Scholarship Awards Banquet will be held on April 24th, Wednesday evening at the Pearl Bay Restaurant (43635 Boscell Rd., Fremont, CA 94538).  The dinner banquet program will start at 6:00 p.m. and is expected to finish at around 9:00 p.m.  Please arrive 30 minutes earlier to check in so that we can start on time.  Note: we will start promptly at 6 pm this year in response to many feedback received last year due to the late start causing many issues and inconvenience to the attendees who arrived on time. RSVP Deadline is Monday, 4/15/2024.  Please follow the information below if you would like to make your reservation online.  If you prefer to mail in a check, please click HERE to download the event flyer, print it out, fill out the reservation form, and mail it in with your check per the instructions.

The cost of the dinner is $50 for adult and $35 for “non-applicant” students (24 and under).  You may purchase online using your credit card - PayPal is preferred because they charge the lowest transaction fees for non-profit organizations.  Please make sure to fill out your contact information and the name(s) of the dinner guests on the Scholarship Dinner Form after clicking the "ADD TO CART" button.  All scholarship student applicants will receive complimentary dinners.  Unfortunately, due to the steep rising cost charged by the restaurants, we can only offer limited number of complimentary dinners to major sponsors with donations of $500 and up. For major donors (donations of $150 and up), we will offer the opportunity to purchase certain number of dinner tickets at a great discounted price of $25 each, based on the amount donated as follows.
$5,000+ 10 complimentary dinners (one full table)
$4,000+ 8 complimentary dinners and may purchase up to 2 discounted dinner tickets
$3,000+ 6 complimentary dinners and may purchase up to 4 discounted dinner tickets
$2,000+ 4 complimentary dinners and may purchase up to 6 discounted dinner tickets
$1,000+ 2 complimentary dinners and may purchase up to 4 discounted dinner tickets
$500+ 1 complimentary dinner and may purchase up to 2 discounted dinner tickets
$300+ may purchase up to 2 discounted dinner tickets
$150+ may purchase 1 discounted dinner ticket
