The South Bay Chinese Service Club engaged in various community service activities and Chinese cultural preservation functions throughout the year such as the following:

• Holidays Celebration to bring joy to our seniors at a Senior Living facility

• Chinese New Year Dinner Celebration

• Jongzi making seminar

• Chinese lantern making with the Red Envelopes

• Honoring Seniors achieving the age of 80 and above with a Dim Sum brunch

NOTE: For donors who are at least 70.5 years of age, you can take advantage of the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from traditional IRA rule to make a donation directly from your IRA to SBCSC. It may reduce your taxable income and may also count as Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for those 73 years and older. Please consult with your tax advisor.
